DIY Body and Face Wash

Today my friend and team member Daphne is sharing one of her favorite recipes with us. Please give her a warm welcome! Thanks Daphne!

A friend of mine introduced me to this recipe at a Make and Take we hosted. This is the best body and face wash I have ever used. It is all natural and it feels amazing on my skin. My skin feels smoother, softer, and hydrated. The best thing about this recipe, is that I use it as a Face and Body Wash. I have three busy kids,  so for me, time in the shower is often limited and almost always interrupted! You can change the essential oils I used and use any oil single or blend that suits your needs. I do however recommend this brand. They are the best and safest in my opinion and they have soooo many oils and blends to choose from!

Here is a little back ground on some of the ingredients I used and why:

Coconut Milk– is great for your skin. It contains vitamins A and C as well as Calcium, Iron, and proteins. The natural fats help your skin to lock in moisture and give your skin a smoother texture.

Rosemary EO–  is great for cleansing the skin. It is also great for combating oily skin and breakouts! Rosemary is also known for its ability to enhance mental clarity and concentration. This is crucial for me in the morning…

I also like to add Peppermint to my Body/Face wash. It smells amazing, is invigorating, and it helps me with the “wake up” process in the morning:)

Here is the Recipe I used. It’s a recipe from my friend, Kirsten of Cheerfully Imperfect  and I tweaked it a little to meet my needs. Feel free to do the same with your mix!
